But it’s more than that, we want to make reliable power accessible to everyone.
Through our battery repurposing program, PowerPlus Energy supports community, education and charity projects by donating refurbished batteries for low-power applications.
One example is the installation supporting St. Teresa Hospital in Nzara, South Sudan, where a PowerPlus Energy system contributes to improve power reliability for a critical healthcare facility serving the local community. Responsible Recycling Commitment
Our Pledge To Our Customers
When a PowerPlus Energy battery is removed from service it can be returned to our head manufacturing facility for safe processing and recycling.
Extended Lifecycle
Where possible, returned batteries will be refurbished and tested so they can be repurposed for low-power applications, community, education and charity projects. This helps extend battery life, reduce waste and keep valuable materials out of landfill.
Recycling Process
Any lithium cells not suitable for repurposing will be sent to a licensed recycling facility, where ferrous and non-ferrous metals are separated and processed through our metals recycling partners.
